General Questions
Q: What age groups does the club support?
A: We currently offer programs for children ages 3 to 18 with programs that focus on developing fundamental skills, building teamwork, and encouraging competitive play. Note that U4 is only offered in the Spring season. For more information, see our Age Chart.
Q: When does the season start and end?
A: The Spring season runs from mid-March to early-June, and the Fall season runs from mid-August to early-November. Registration for Spring opens in January, and registration for Fall opens in May.
Q: How do I register my child?
A: You can register online through our website under the “Registration” tab. Once registration is open, you’ll see all current program options and deadlines listed.
Q: What does the registration fee cover?
A: For Micro, the fee includes the player’s shirt, medal, and insurance for your player. For Classic, it covers insurance and league administration. For both programs, fees go toward field maintenance, equipment updates, and other similar shared expenses.
Q: What is the work bond fee?
A: NSC has a $100 work bond per family due at time of registration. There will be plenty of opportunities to volunteer throughout the season. Coaching, team managing, field set-ups, lining the fields during the season, helping out at community events/tournaments are all examples of ways you’ll be able to volunteer. If you complete a volunteer opportunity by the end of the current season, $100 will be refunded to your credit card used at registration.
Q: How do I submit my work bond completion proof?
A: Each season, there is a work bond completion form created that must be submitted. The form for the current season can be found HERE.
Q: Do I need to live in Nazareth for my child to play for Nazareth Soccer Club?
A: No, you do not need to be a Nazareth resident to play for the club.
Q: What is the Victory Fund?
A: The Victory Fund helps ensure that all children can play soccer with Nazareth Soccer Club, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. Established in 2018, the fund covers playing costs for families in need so no child is excluded from the sport.
Practice & Games
Q: How often are practices and games?
A: Our Micro program practices once a week for sixty minutes (on the day of the week chosen by the head coach), with one game per week held on Saturdays. Click here for more details about our Micro Program or reach out to our Micro Director at MicroDirector@nazarethsoccer.org
Our Classic teams (U9+) typically practice twice per week for 90 minutes. Game times depend on age and the league in which your player belongs to. U9-U10 are 7v7 and 50 minutes long, U11-U12 are 9v9 and 60 minutes long. U13-U14 are 11v11 and 70 minutes long. U15-U16 are 80 minutes long and U17-U19 are 90 minutes long.
Classic teams compete both at home and in neighboring towns. Parents and players need to be prepared for limited travel. The club’s most competitive teams sometimes travel up to an hour to league games. Click here for more details about our Classic program or reach out to our Classic Director at ClassicDirector@nazarethsoccer.org
Q: Where are practices and games held?
A: Micro practices and games (U4-U8) are held at Lower Essroc/Kim Donald Kromer Park fields. Classic teams compete both at home and in neighboring towns. A list of all of the club’s home fields can be found here.

Uniforms & Gear
Q: What equipment does my child need?
A: All players need shin guards, socks, cleats, an age-appropriate ball and a water bottle. Micro players will receive a team t-shirt for games. In addition, shin guards and soccer socks are also required. Classic players will need to purchase a home and away uniform kit. Uniform ordering information will be sent out ahead of the season’s start. For more details about what to bring to practice and games, as well as soccer ball sizes per age group, click here.
